This is an illustration of the wedding at Canaa, specifically the miracle of turning water into wine. It reminds me of a cartoon. But a picture is a picture, whatever be the name that you call it, and I don't quite believe in the compartmentalization of the creative.

I think the title is quite clear about this one. Inspired, perhaps, by the many Roman generals in Asterix.Asterix is into its fiftieth year, incidentally.

I love this picture. Though the flautist's face reminds me of H.D.G.A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, a.k.a Srila Prabhupada, founder of ISKCON.
